SALxx553D -- High-speed SISO BCH decoder, errors-only

 

 

The SALxx553D product is a systematic BCH decoder device whose coefficients are taken from the field GF(2), and whose generator polynomial is given as the product of t minimal polynomials. It is capable of very high speed operation.

The SALxx553D uses a pipelined architecture, and is capable of handling shortened frames without the normal latency and throughput penalty of competing products. The device is optimized for low area and power with high throughput.
