Salamander Error Correction is in the process of developing a comprehensive line of standard interleaver products for error correction applications.

    Interleaver Products

An interleaver is a standard element in all but the simplest modern error control systems. The interleaver takes in data symbols and permutes their order such that adjacent input symbols are as far apart in the output data stream as possible. We recognize two basic categories of interleaver: rectangular / convolutional and application-specific.
