    Galois Field Products

A Galois Field or finite field is a finite set of numbers that is closed under addition and multiplication; obeys the commutative, associative, and distributive properties; and contains inverses and identity elements. Arithmetic operations on Galois Field numbers are used in error correction and data encryption, and require specially designed logic circuits such as those offered by Salamander.
