Salamander Error Correction is in the process of developing a line of standard BCH code products for error correction applications.

    BCH Code Products

A BCH code is a linear cyclic code whose roots are consecutive powers of a primitive Finite Field element. Reed-Solomon codes are a familiar example of a non-binary BCH code. We follow the industry convention of designating only binary codes (i.e. codes over GF(2)) as "BCH" codes, although technically this is inaccurate.

We offer two types of BCH codes: IEEE 802.16-compatible Turbo Block Code constituent BCH codes, and DVB-S2-compatible constituent BCH codes. Additionally, both codes are available in hard decision and Soft-In-Soft-Out (SISO) forms.
