Salamander Error Correction is currently developing two channel simulation devices for communications applications. The SAL90190E device is a Gaussian Noise Generator. It generates highly precise Gaussian random noise samples, and is particularly suitable for simulation of very low BER (~10-9) systems. The SAL90199E device is a multipath-fading channel simulator which combines Gaussian noise and programmable signal echo. It is designed to aid in hardware prototyping of RAKE receivers and Decision Feedback Equalizers.
